Head coach Larry Willingham graduated from Sabino in 1975 after wrestling as a Sabercat for 3 years. He was also on the Sabino Tennis team before heading off to the University of Arizona, where he got his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

More recenly, Coach Willingham was a board member and training director for Amigos de las Americas (1999 - 2006), youth football coach (2001), cheer squad coach (2001-2006) for a team that won the 2005 National Championship. He's also coached baseballl and was manager of a softball team (2002-2006) that was All-Stars in 2003.

When not busy coaching, Larry is owner of AZUSA Construction, LLC.
