TURTLE IN THE DESERTWrestling Camp 2009We're happy to announce our 2009 Wrestling Camp, "Turtle in the Desert". Coached by Todd Beckerman, two-time NCAA All American, and our own Brian Burgman, this camp consists of seven sessions over four consecutive days (June 15th through 18th) for a total of 21 hours of intensive training. Camp of Champions 2009The Camp of Champions Intensive Wrestling School has developed the ultimate experience for the competitive wrestler and coach. This team camp will offer wrestlers the opportunity to develop their individual skills and learn new techniques while working together towards their team's ultimate goal. A whole season of experience can be obtained by attending this Team Camp 2009! During the course of the week, each wrestler will paricipate in a combination of technique sessions, scrimmages, team dual meets, and an individual double-elimination tournament. Trip includes a stop at Magic Mountain on the last night before returning to Tucson. Schedule
CostEstimates for the total cost of this camp, the travel and lodging is about $560 per wrestler. The booster club is working on raising some funds to offset the overall cost of this camp, and final cost will be announced later. All wrestlers who want to participate in this great opportunity need to commit to the camp and submit a non-refundable $100 deposit to Coach Basila by March 20th.
