Rio Rico High School came to Sabino for a match on December 3rd. We got to see some great wrestling, our team gained experience, and we did have several pins. Rio Rico fielded a strong team, and we lost this particular dual meet (Rio Rico 46, Sabino 27). As always, our team worked hard.
Thanks to Jim, our official referee for this match. In addition to the hard work and vigilance on the mat, Jim helped to teach our parent volunteers more about scorekeeping and timing. We'll need all the experience we can get for the upcoming William Bell Tournament!
And we did get some individual wins! This shot shows the enthusiastic support of our parents, friends, and other family members.
