On December 2nd, Mountain View High School came to Sabino. Like at other home meets, our concession stand sold snacks for athletes and spectators, as well as a variety of tshirts and shorts. This sort of fundraiser is critical to our team and to our future travel plans, so MANY thanks to the Tina Eubanks and the entire Booster Club! Normally, a dual match like this is about the Varsity wrestlers, but it can also be a great opportunity to set up some JV matches between the two schools. For this day, in addition to the Mountain View JV, we also invited Tucson High JV to come wrestle. This gives them more mat-time, gives the younger wrestlers more opportunities to get used to official matches (with audience and refs and everything!) and makes the whole team stronger. Thanks for coming, Tucson JV!
