On January 7th, Sabino Wrestlers won at 5A Buena! Check out the news article from the Sierra Vista Herald! It started with a 50/39 rout for our JV and things just got better.Our varsity had 7 pins to their 6 plus a forfeit to tie us at 42/42. We started down 30 to 6 and fought our way back with a must-pin situation in each match. It then went to rule book criteria and as far as the 6th level (most points scored in the 1st period by the entire team) for Sabino to win. This win gives the team tremendous momentum going into the Catalina Invitational this weekend. Go Cats!
